TATTOO ARTIST
Santiago a.k.a Stitch began piercing back in 1988. He started out as a piercer. Started with the “typical punk” piercings from back in the day. Moving to more aggressive piercings made him want to do more to the body. He became Senior Piercer and Assistant shop Manager at Legacy Imports in Stockton, CA (owned by Mike Suave). Where he began to expand his skills. After leaving Legacy Imports, he became Senior Piercer and scarification artist at Temple of Addiction (owned by Pedro). Through the years he has advance to other more extreme body art modifications. Piercing, branding, scapeling, bifurcations, suspensions, tattooing and Trans/subdermal implantation.
He and his wife, Brandy, had owned two shops in Stockton, CA (piercings by Santiago) and Jackson, CA (Unforsaken Body Art). They have also helped open shops for other people and did the set up and ran them till they were good to go on their own. Both of them being Body modifiers, they ran their shops together for several years. Throughout the years, they have mentored several artists (including their own sons) that are now making names for themselves. In 2013 Santi (Stitch) came to Las Vegas to see what the industry was. Santi loved it here and moved his family to Vegas. Santi started here at Diversity on Decatur on July 2nd 2013 and has been here since. Santi still loves doing piercings but find happiness in doing all body art. He says the fun is making people face that little bit of fear of the needle and then watching how excited they get over the outcome.
